Wrapping up 2025

Well, I didn’t get to write as much this year as I hoped. My mom’s health has been on a downward spiral. So my spoons have been few and far between. We did get to travel a nice (small) amount, though, so there’s that.

My 2025 Flighty Passport

We started the year with a trip to Kauai, our first visit to that Hawaiian island. It was beautiful and we had a lovely time. Rob still likes Oahu the best, though!

For Spring Break, we took our long awaited trip to Paris. Disneyland Paris was the main attraction, of course. And we spend a little time in Paris, itself, too…

Worldcon this year was in Seattle. I had been there a few times before, but it was the first time for Rob. We went a few days early and headed to Olympic National Park, which was awesome.

A National Salute to Bob Hope and the Military (San Diego, CA)

In between all that, we fit in a couple of weekend trips to San Diego, the GallifreyOne convention, and an anniversary trip to Palm Springs/Joshua Tree when our Disney Cruise didn’t pan out. We closed out the year with a pre-Christmas trip to Solvang.

Some of this I have already posted about, and the rest I hope to get to eventually!

Meanwhile, in 2026, we are going to New Zealand (our second time!), MD/PA/New York City, and Hong Kong. And we’ve got our first Virgin Voyages cruise booked for January of 2027. I’m sure other stuff will pop up too!
